Vision

To see a society in which all citizens have equal access to quality basic education that enables them to develop their potential capacity and actively participate in national development.

Missions
BEN-E’s missions are:
To contribute to the creation of an enabling environment for NGOs/CSOs involved in basic education; serve as a platform of NGOs through the sharing of information and experiences; undertakes research and persuasive dialogue for the full realization of the Education For All (EFA) goals; promote the expansion and innovative replication of equitable basic education programs through:

Partnership and dialogue with stakeholders;
Promotion of accessibility and quality education;
Research, development and communication;
Resource base diversification;
Mainstreaming girls education, HIV/AIDS, Environment, Population issues in its activities and programs; and
Capacity building of member organizations.
